Salary: £16 – £19 per hour

Adept are exciting to be working alongside a well-established engineering business located in Ripley who supply into Nuclear, Power, and Aerospace.
They are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Turner with Mazatrol experience to join their shop floor team.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Machining high-integrity parts in a variety of materials, including nickel alloys, stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, and carbon steels.
* Programming, setting, and operating machines, including the prove-out of new programs.
* Ensuring work is completed to an exacting quality standard, right the first time and on time.
* Maintaining a high level of housekeeping to ensure facility cleanliness.
* Following route card instructions and completing all documentation to company procedures.
* Reading and understanding complex engineering drawings.
* Using and interpreting workshop measuring equipment.
* Performing in-cycle deburring of components where appropriate.
* Conducting periodic maintenance checks of equipment.
* Proactively identifying and suggesting improvement opportunities.
* Accurately logging working hours (direct and indirect).
*Qualifications/Experience:*
* Apprenticeship trained, time-served, NVQ level 3, or higher.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a precision machining role.
* Experience with Mazatrol CNC controls.
* Experience in relevant industries such as Nuclear, Power Generation, and Aerospace.
* Experience working to high precision tolerances.
* Experience working with a wide range of materials.
*Shift Patterns:*
* Day Shift only (0730-1630 Mon-Thurs, 0730-1230 Fri).
* 39 hours per week basic.
* Overtime (+50%) is available, including weekend working when required.
*Holiday Entitlement:* 33 days (including statutory)
*Company Sick Pay Scheme:* Active after 1 year of service.
